Bummed Out Meets "Not My Dog"!

Remember all the procrastinating I’ve been doing this week. Well, this is one of the things I planned to do for five days but, of course, I put off until today…Friday.

I love flowers and always plant A TON!

So, pictured here are 14 flats of flowers I purchased yesterday and planted today. These go in the ground. Next weekend I will do all my pots.

I planted rather leisurely, not pressed for time and taking a diet coke break here and there. The weather was gorgeous, filled with sunshine and a light breeze. It was the perfect day to get these babies in the ground.

After a full day of planting and yard work (so as to have appeared productive over the course of one week here and who could doubt it with beautiful flowers all over the yard?), it was time to hit the shower. I was filthy!

This is what I returned to not 30 minutes later.

Not my dog (AND not the only spot dug up)!

I have two large chocolate Labs. They’re not diggers.

I walked out the front door with phone in hand, ready to sit down and relax. There was Ranger just sitting there and it was him evidenced by the by the dirt on his paws (can't see it from the picture but, believe me, it's there).

Rangler is on my SH%T list times two because he spent the night and barked all night. When I don't get sleep, someone pays ;-)

What a cute do--uh, BAD dog! Bad!

Rangler is a good dog, just a pup. So what's a girl to do? He sheds all over my house too. I can certainly tell the difference since all my dog hair is brown and his are blonde tumble weeds. Would never dream of telling him not to come over.

I believe I was in shock. And then he looked at me with those eyes. I melted!

I just envisioned the sour patch (or something similar) ocmmercial where the candy does something mean (sour) like cut a kid's hair, then says it's sorry (sweet) and the kid accepts its apology, even though her hair looks awful. Ha.

He's such a sweet dog. Comes over all the time. He looks sorry, doesn't he? I'm going with that. However, your commercial sounds funny and I would have laughed at it. I didn't laugh at this.
