Momma Told Me There'd Be Men Like Him

aetherforce.com

He speaks in perfect, no silky, words. Always patting my ass almost in passing. Biting my bottom lip perfectly. Then there’s the smile. And the perfect timing thing.

My momma warned me about men like “him”.

They’ll notice your Milky Way eyes and spring in subtly. All narrow hipped and lithe. Magnetic, they are. You can’t look away, be away, stay away. So they'll pull you under. Because they can. By your hair. And there'll be no choice but to hold your breath. Surrender to the pain of pleasure, or the pleasure of pain. Whichever.

People write songs about them.

Job Application Email: Velvet Verbosity

Dear Sandmeyer's,

Crossing your threshold, you may hear an audible [SIGH]. Fear not! It’s only me
paying my weekly visit, not serial stalking. Your warmth and beauty wrap me like a favorite afghan. My heart pounds harder; its walls nearly bursting with uncontainable bliss. Forefront, I stand, presenting my arm for your euphoric injection, and will here admit my only transgression being abebooks.com. Otherwise, I pledge complete faithfulness to you.

Searching for exuberant staff? Look no further! I’ve long dreamed of working here, even if for free. So I mercifully beg; please indulge this lifelong bibliophile.

Kindest regards,

Gina

Velvet Verbosity's word this week was INDULGE.

Her lips began moving; a train barreling down the track.

"I have something to tell you..."

His eyes glazed over. In his experience, nothing pleasant ever started with those words. But then her face softened..
