On The Pontoon

Written for Trifecta's 33 writing challenge.

**************************

Sunrise they drop lines, sip coffee; smiling at each other.

Afternoon’s heat packs coolers, friends and music tied together.

Sunset drops on a perfectly still night; moonlit lovers float…No one in sight.

Nothing beats a boat. Nothing. I liked this a lot--makes me wish for sunny skies.

You nailed it because it's all three especially insane (at times, like last night).

Yesterday was perfect, day and night.

It's very romantic...floating in the still of the night.

This one could as we've had it for about ten years. Wish it would tell me what my kids were doing at 2am last night.

I agree. I could take boat rides all day and all night and often do. A beautifully sunny Sunday here!

Thanks, Anna!

Oh yes! And down here in the South, the sun's contrasts are particularly easy to feel, even out on the water.

Hey, JQ!
You are the only one who picked up on the my object being the sun. Yes! The contrasts of the sun making up a complete day and you would feel it even more in Kentucky.
