Sunday
stream of consciousness at Jana’s Thinking Place is going on right at this very
minute. There is an optional prompt of which I am opting out. It has taken me hours just to walk from the family room
to the computer and type for five minutes.
The
rules are five minutes, leave it alone, push publish. Here goes:
Not
only am I having a “fat” day (hate this feeling), I am extremely tired,
incredibly lazy and quite possibly intensely crabby (you know what you know….). I don’t intend to ask anyone for confirmation on any of those adjectives particularly with regard to
my mood, but no one’s really talking to me anyway as of yet. It is 1:30. Do you
think I did something or am I giving off the “vibe”?
Last
night was P!NK!!!!! It was the most incredible concert experience I’ve ever had
the privilege of spectating and I’ve spectated a lot of experiences (spellchecker
is hating all over my use of this word. It is a word, isn’t it?). Wow! She
draws a very homogenous crowd and it provided for quality people watching which
besides seeing P!NK is one of my most favorite things to do.
You’d
think standing and dancing for two hours straight burned enough calories
(should Google that actually. Must be hundreds, right?) and that I should be
able to eat anything I darn well want today.
But
there’s nothing worse than feeling chubby, lazy and crabby because in that
“perfect storm” the only thing you feel like doing it is eating. Because you
shouldn’t be?
Cereal
Peanut
Butter on a banana
A
donut
Chips
and salsa
Chicken
tortilla soup
A
bowl of salted caramel and chocolate malt ice cream (yes, two scoops)
And now someone just asked me to get out of my sweats. We are going somewhere.
I don't think sooooo.....

It is only 1:45pm.
More lazy, more crabby, more eating to do.

I've been having a chubby, lazy, crabby week. So, see, it's not so bad - for one day.
Although ... that ice cream sounds really, really good.
I'm so jealous you went to pink. Amazing. I'm having the same day minus the pink memories.
Your list of food is making me very hungry. I would like to have all of those things right now.
Love that you got to go see Pink. That is amazing.
Love your food choices! Glad the show was great! You can definitely Google how many calories you burned at her concert! Perhaps, next time, you can try and get up on stage with her and do some of her killer moves and burn even more ;-)
I hope your day got better!
Ugh, I had a fat, crabby day yesterday too brought on by a girls weekend with way too much eating, daylight savings time leading to not enough sleeping, and a less than stellar Sunday morning run due to the aforementioned too much eating and not enough sleeping. Here's to a better (and leaner!) Monday!
Um - I'ma say you were giving off a vibe ;-) I hate days like that. LOL to all that you ate before 1:45. Anyway, a friend of mine saw P!NK on Friday night and that's exactly what she said. She's seen a lot of concerts and for her to say "best ever" is really saying something.
I hate when those kinds of weeks string out...
:-( Sorry. She was fab!
I love to eat. And PINK was a-mazing!
I'm going to google that! Don't tempt me. I would totally get on stage with her but I'd then be hauled off by security!
Sort of the same thing for me. So you know the feeling...
Back on it today and hitting it hard for the next big "whatever" comes around.
I'ma gonna agree with you, my friend! I didn't move until they MADE me. It really was the best ever even though the press panned her. They don't know what they're talking about!
Glad I am far away, would hate to get caught in the line of fire- grumpy blondes are dangerous. ;)
Since you're a Pink fan, you may have already seen this... http://music.yahoo.com/blogs/stop-the-presses/pink-stops-show-comfort-crying-child-194304797.html
I DID! She is so awesome! Thanks for thinking of me a.eye.
