Trifextra: Afternoon Delight

“Tether our hearts forever.”

His ring said.

“Forever and more.”

Said hers.

“Your skin is velvet. Your hair, a crown of spun gold.”

Sighing.

“Come, husband.”

Coaxing.

“Where, wife?”

“The loft.”

“Mmmmm hmmmm.”

Written for Trifecta using the words tether, loft, crown then adding 30 more. Come over and read some awesome entries then vote on Sunday!

Now that's what I'm talking about! My favourite piece so far, Gina! Very natural flow to the story. Very good use of the prompts.

This is just fantastic. I love that your characters are husband and wife. Married people can still bring the heat. ;)

This is so sweet. I like how the conversation went, and the ring inscriptions made it even deeper.

Guess that hair and skin line worked. "The Loft"... says a lot in two words. Nice.

It is interesting what is engraved in rings. I used to be a jeweler.

rawr (is that how you type that?)

Beautifully done! You do romance up right!

I guess "The Loft" is quite the destination! Thanks.

I agree. There is probably something engraved in most. I find it very interesting.

I'm not sure but I think so...

I love romance. Thank you for appreciating it.

Love that first inscription! Sweet post.

So funny! Loft was the hard word here, for me. TWO? Choices!

Gina said...

Thank, Kymm. I like it too.

Ah so sweet. You made the three words seem like they were ones you were going to use in the first place (if that makes sense). I loved this!
