Trifextra: A Very Married Conversation

“My heart’s a shriveled raison

Thinking of you every second.”

“Bad” TV queued.

“I bet.”

“I miss you more than life.”

Ice cream spoon dangling.

“Yeah, right.”

Bon bons? Check.

“Be good.”

“You, too.”

***********************

This weekend's challenge at Trifecta is to include some hyperbole in 33 words.

Another obsession? Where does it rank among the others? e.g. Peanut butter, shoes, Bears football? Very funny. Good one! :)

Perfect for this prompt!

Thanks, Joe.

I have MANY! Ice cream ranks in the lower third of the upper half ;-)

TV to myself this whole weekend! Movies on movies on movies! Thanks lumdog.

Thank you, Bo! We joke around a lot when the other is gone. We've been married a long time!

Btw, did you like The Intouchables?

It's nice when you're so comfortable with your hubs that you can have these conversations!

Ice cream? What flavor? Something yummy, I hope!

Bon bons are important when parted.

Very funny, Gina. Love those dual conversations! Plan sounds most excellent, btw. As is the photo.

Also: raisin. I keep searching for "d'etre" lol

Gina said...

Me, too. But I've watched one British, one French (subtitled) and one Spanish (subtitled). The rest of the weekend will be for reading.

Weekends w/o hubby = lots of chocolate!

Gina said...

I've moved from the comfy couch to the big cozy chair. With blanket, f course! Thanks!

Gina said...

Thanks. I'm on a salted caramel kick ;-)

Gina said...

He's only gone for two days so we don't ave time to miss each other that much! We have some very funny conversations being old marrieds and all.

Salted caramel is the bomb! I'm out so after yoga I need to stop for more!

Gina said...

Yes they are. It's like having your lved one with you...well almost!

Gina said...

Yes! We loved it!

Gina said...

Thanks, Kymm. I like playfully conversing. Replace the potato with e and you have my weekend in a nutshell. However there's a chair in the room that needs attention too. (couch for reading and chair for movies).

I just went back to see if raisin d'être would work. Just needs a little rewording.

I love 'bad TV queued' - that would be someone who totally got me as I have a weakness for high and very very low things, haha. Hope your Valentine's was a sweet one!

bon bons spelled backward is snobnob

Gina said...

I am the same way. There is a a definite contradictory element in my discriminating, and not so, tastes! It's been a sweet weekend, that's for sure! Love seeing you here! XO back to you!

Gina said...

Love those particular C's! Thanks so much, Rambly!

Gina said...

Thank you. We "do" good conversation around here. Can be a bit sarcastic if you didn't pick up on that? All three are yummy!!!

Gina said...

That's hilarious. I will never think of or write the words bon bon again without thinking of snobhob! Perfect.

I do not picture you a couch potato... Ice Cream Spoon with pinky extended... yeah maybe...

You live in Chicago, huh?

Kir said...

Oh a girl after my own heart.
I love a good weekend, evening, whatever to myself, with a salty snack.

my DVR overflowith ;)

Gina said...

It's a typical one. We can be sassy sometimes but in a good way. That picture cracks me up because of the book resting there. That's what my house looks like minus the potato but that's me!

Gina said...

Oh, I could out-relax almost anyone if I have a book or a movie. I'm not terribly dainty either. Never extend the pinkie!

Born and breed!

It was great having a weekend to myself. No trouble filling my time. I usually order in a great dinner then dessert for sure!

Mine too! All caught up now!
