Yep! It’s
that time of year again. And this weekend starts it all.
Yippee!
It’s the Holidays.
Kids
arrive home bearing “gifts” that smell.
In-laws
from both sides come for a visit. Some stay too long; some not long enough. You
know the saying about fish and relatives, right? They begin to smell after
three days.
Households
might
be a little more stressed than usual for the next six weeks…Or possibly not and never in my house, for sure ;-)
I thought
I’d leave you with a short saying that might hold some truth.
I
don’t know.
Just throwing it out there.
Just throwing it out there.
(From Change the Topic's Facebook page. I don't know where Mrs. Bird got it originally)

well I really do all the houswork but I won't reveal the rest of the facts..... LOL
No need for facts. ;-)
Just a personal observation.
Haha I love that, and it's so true.
Just sayin'!
Manipulate, manipulate, manipulate.
I don't know how things work in other household but I like to think of us as a team here with a common purpose. When I feel we are together in the same spirit, I feel connected. In this household, nothing is dangled over the others head or used to manipulate. It's about feeling like a couple. When we help each other, I feel that. So how about when I mow the lawn, take out the trash or untangle the Christmas lights (things I don't ordinarily do) am I manipulating...maybe for a pair of shoes or a pleasant mood before the VISA bill comes but never the other. It was a funny observation, that's all!
Hilarious! Although if your hubby does too much of the housework, you run the risk of him being too tired to participate in the extra laying. Double-edged sword...
He has the uncanny ability to get it all done when I least expect it and sit on the couch when I don't care that he does. After so many years, it keeps working! He's never too tired.
