Tired, anyone?
Thank
you, Sasha, for hosting Monday Listicles where this week’s list is 10 photos from
your phone. I happen to take a lot of pictures with mine so I’m sharing 10 fairly recent (and decent (kidding)) from
2012.
This
is a picture from my tiny village about 7:00am, a few weeks ago, as I’m walking in for my coffee
fix. I do not live in Denver. Those are not the foothills of the Rocky
Mountains. That’s Sandy rolling into Chicago from the East.
Two of the most important people in my life. My nurses and best friends on girls' night in Sea Island, Georgia.
This
precious little thing was walking ahead of me into a Bears game in September.
So cute! I want a tutu and an orange with navy hair bow.
Sue,
Frisky and me on the island of Nevis on a total beach day. We were feeling
extremely relaxed right about then. Love no makeup, no hair and flip flop vacations.
Why?
Why do I have a carrot between my toes and taking a picture? Well, there’s a
whole story for this one but we won’t be going there. Usually pictures like
this one get deleted (not really). She must have said feed me or something. She didn't really eat it either.
Tacking
around the buoy during the Sunday sailboat races. Boats almost colliding. My daughter is the captain of
the one and only all girls’ racing crew in a fleet of 28 E-scow sailboats.
The
Amalfi Coast at sunset from our terrace.
My favorite beach dog, Miel, at Bikini
Bootcamp in Tulum, Mexico. I would like to be sleeping just like that but on the sun lounger.
A delicatessen at the entrance to Campo de Fiori (outdoor market) in Rome. We helped the
proprietress move the Mortadella out into the street so she could slice it for
a customer. Look at the size of that knife! Being helpful pays off. She gave us samples.
Gelato,
of course, from Florence, Italy. My favorite, strawberry, is in the middle.

Great pictures :) Pretty crazy what great shots we can get on a phone!
I love these pictures! I have been taking a crazy lot of pictures with my phone lately. So awesome what you can capture.
I know. I have a camera that I use but my phone (when I remember to take it with me) is so much easier to capture a moment and then download.
Thanks, Samantha. Some great, sharable ;-) memories for me. Yes you have been because I can now totally picture your new town from some of your shots. Keep putting them up!
Look at the size of that knife? Look at the size of that Mortadella!
I love Italy, my family owns a house on a private island in the Gulf of Venice and it's just heaven there.
That gelato looks creamy and yummy! That mortadella looks amazing as well!
Her knife was the first thing we noticed! It was two feet long! It tasted amazing too. You are one of the luckiest people on earth. I love Italy so much. Wish I could live there. It truly is heaven on earth.
Wow, that is a huge hunk of meat! I would definitely wear a tutu if it weren't that people would likely point and laugh. So cute.
They were both incredibly tasty! I want to go back!
We'll wear them together and then anyone can talk about us and we won't care. Always helps to have a partner in crime.
I love the beach dog photo and those Gelato's look deeeelish! This was a great idea for a link up.
You inspired my blog post this evening ;-)
I want to be that dog and eat gelato!
What is it? What is it? I can't wait!!! Tell me!
Great photos! They all look like so much fun. I also want to be snuggling that beautiful dog in the sun!
There are three yellow labs there who play in the ocean all day.
I loved hearing the story behind each photo! That dog has the life :)
Amalfi coast sunset picture. Love it.
Me too! I'd go back there in a minute. It was so beautiful it looked fake every single day.
I wish I could be Miel, too. Eat great food, exercise, run, swim and hang on one of the most beautiful beaches. And a hottie (Miel's daddy) runs the exercise program. Nothing better...well, almost.
If I posted pictures from my cell phone, all you would see is how cute my two dogs are! That Mortadella looks amazing!
I have all kinds of stuff on there. I leave my phone around and people take pictures with it thinking they're funny. I'd love to see how cute your dogs are. That Mortadella WAS amazing!
Oh, my goodness, you have been to a lot of places! That picture of Sandy coming into Chicago is amazing. My husband drives east in the mornings, and he says the clouds over Lake Michigan often remind him of a mountain range.
Hey Ginny! It was our first year with the kids both away in college. Lovely. So we got away a lot. That Sandy picture is my favorite. It truly was a site, like a wall between my house and the lake. I can only imagine what it looked like from the city hanging over Lake Michigan. Wish I would have seen that.
You really capture beauty of the world around you and great, fun stories. Your daughter is awesome to captain!!!
