Trifextra: Food Coma Conundrums

This is how I'm choosing to spend the day!

Some days more than others, there’s such disparity between what I need to do, want to do, and should do.

Gloating jubilantly when not inharmonious, oftentimes it seems as complicated as Catch-22’s cousin.

***********************

This was a quick and dirty Trifextra prompt.  This weekend they assume that we are slogging our way through leftovers and family bickering (or is that just them? Nope, it’s not just you!!!) and thus they're going way easy on us. This weekend they’re are asking for a 33-word free write.

It’s also community vote. So click over, read a whole bunch of creative entries, and then vote for your favorite on Sunday night before you go to bed. Okay?

    1. Not exactly a Catch-22 although feels like one so they must be related. Making you smile makes me happy, Tina!!!

    1. Steph,
Read two in a row. Runaway and Friendship, Hateship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage right before. I'm addicted to Munro. Need to get my hands on another...

  12. "Catch-22's cousin" <------ LOVE that!

I couldn't agree more, my dear. And the photo is doing nothing to motivate me off this chair. The laundry will still be there, right?

    1. Thank you Ivy! It just popped into my head.

Oh yeah! The laundry pile will always be there. What's another minutr/hour/day. Sometimes if I wait long enough the laundry fairy does it (yea for hubbies)!!! I never intentionally do that but I am guilty of losing track of time...

  14. I once heard a high school girl say, "I don't want to miss the things I want to do (shop, play in the school band, etc.) because of the things I have to do (study, sleep, eat healthy foods, etc.). Even though we all know how unrealistic her words are, I admire the attitude and have never forget that moment, fifteen or so years later. Good post, Gina. I think you made the best choice as to what to do with the time at your disposal today. :)
