In 57 words or less,
tell us about your doppelgänger.

“You
look exactly like her,” he said with a wink.
“Really?!?!”
It
was the only time I’d cut my hair short.
“A
guy told me I looked like Princess Diana! Must be the haircut.” I repeated to
hubby.
“What
guy?”
“Victor
at the high school.”
“Who’s
Victor?”
Don't I freaking
wish...............................
Haha! That was great. Who's a say a janitor isn't perceptive? :)
ReplyDeleteI was shocked. He was my favorite janitor from that point on. ALWAYS got a "hi" from me. But I sort of say "hi" to everyone.
DeleteShe sure was a looker!
ReplyDeleteShe was! I never got that again and grew my hair out.
DeleteGreat one, especially from a janitor. You know, they are the ones who know all the dirt in the school...literally and figuratively. :) I can see it in the smile, definitely! Thank you so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteIt made me laugh when he said it. And I've never heard it again. People tell me I look like someone they know ALL the time. I must have a totally generic look about me. Who knows?
DeleteI dont' think I've ever been told I look like anyone. Princess Di is a great one!
ReplyDeleteSee! You are unique in your look. Apparently, I am not. What can I do about it though?
DeleteThis is terrific. What a great compliment!
ReplyDeleteFrom a very kind janitor.
DeleteYour heart is just as big as hers...your smile just as stunning, your sense of humor just as humble.
ReplyDeletePlus you're just as PRETTY as her.
Loved this. :)
You are far too kind but I love you for it! I don't know about all of that but it was fun hearing from the janitor!
DeleteWhat an awesome doppelganger! And that picture...she really was a stunner.
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my favorite pictures of her. I've always liked/admired her and not because of the janitor because he came after her death.
DeleteI actually can see it. Prior to that, I just thought you looked like a childhood neighbor of mine. (Totally serious.) But now you have me thinking Diana "Elvised" her death and is living a life disguised as one of the sweetest bloggers I know.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Gina. Thanks for playing Ketchup. :)
I look like a childhood neighbor? I am so very often told I look like someone someone happens to know. Or I get asked if "have we met before?" YOU are too sweet Michele!!!
DeleteThis is really light and fun and a pleasure to play. Thank you for bringing the levity to my blog!!!
When I was younger, I was told I looked like Corey Feldman, so Princess Di is a MUCH better doppelganger. And I can totally see the resemblance. I'm so glad I stopped by your blog!
