Yeah Write Micro-stories: Kissing Someone New

boredpanda.com

Laughing nervously, my eyes squeeze tightly anticipating where I’ll first feel his breath, or anything. I await his lips, or something.

My stomach pitches.

That deep, aching warmth spreads across nether places sweeping up universes within its centripetal force.

A gasp slips.

  1. That gasp is why you never eat chili before you kiss someone the first time.

    1. Nah, I once shared a moment with a girl who surprised both of us with...commentary from below.

      This reminded me.

    2. Jack,
As the first to read this post, and as my blogging friend who happens to be an exceptional writer, I could wring your neck for not correcting my it's/its mistake!
      Gina

P.S. Oh MY! Now that's what I call a surprise (for both of you, I am positive!!!)!

  2. Oh my, steamy! I don't think I can even remember that far back. The stomach pitching and gasp slipping are great word choices!

    1. Yes, sometimes "Steamy" Gina comes out to play! I remember it/them like it/they was/were yesterday. I definitely recall the outstanding ones. The thought can still make me feel something. Then there are the "toads" I'd happily forget, although not too many of them thankfully. I am blessed with an elephant's memory! Thanks, Stacie!

  6. I think you've taken my crown as the romance queen...but I happily hand it over for now, because this was sweet, heady and full of all the anticipation that moment is about. :)
