The best
way to take my mind off of a heartbreaking visit to the vet is to write something. So
here you have it.
Trifecta says complete the following story in 33 words:
'It wasn't the first time.'
Book
obsessed and reenacting plotlines in real
life.
It’s only a game, isn’t it?
Trickier, scarier and riskier.
Exciting
beyond expectations.
Does she have it in her this time?
Stopping would be wise…
Oh I'm sorry to hear about that visit (sorry now I've reminded you again)
ReplyDeleteWe have to make a decision really soon in all fairness to Ellie. We will not be in agreement (so far, the big guns, me and him, aren't agreeing) and it won't be unanimous so I don't know. Thanks for the thoughts.
DeleteI think that you did a great job with this prompt! I am intrigued...
ReplyDeleteThanks! Intrigued is good!
DeleteI am intrigued too! Acting out book plots in real life..which book?!?!
ReplyDeleteI get completely sucked in by characters and story lines.I NEVER want good books to end. So today I thought, what would happen if someone desired to live out a book, be a character and live, for a period of time just like that.
DeleteMy original thoughts were thrillers or spy type novels, then I thought about romance novels set in Italy or Europe somewhere. Of course, my mind then wandered to the "Fifty" side of things. Who knows?
What Libby said.
DeleteWell then...to be more specific and said below...I'm definitely envisioning a very romantic love story written by a young, never before published, up and coming writer who could write this story perfectly!
Deletewow. you say a lot here in so few words.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sandra!
DeleteWonder which book it was... Excellent take on the prompt.
ReplyDeleteAnna :o] at http://puzzelicious.blogspot.com
I wonder which one too. So many read and stuck in the brain to pick just one. Would love to re-create many! Spy thriller? Awesome love story? I do know which one I would truly pick...
DeleteInteresting. I want to know more! Nice job :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Saucy! I wonder, too.
DeleteLove story, I think. I miss those traumatic dating days.
ReplyDeleteAnd. . . I have awarded you the "Lovely Blog" award, which fits you I think. www.castlepinesnorth.blogspot.com
Thanks loverofwords. I will come over and visit you.
DeleteInitially, I was thinking sexy espionage. Now I'm definitely envisioning a very romantic love story written by a young, never before published, up and coming writer who could write this story perfectly!
There goes my imagination again!
Oh, but wise isn't always interesting...
ReplyDeleteHope that you make it through whatever's going on with the vet soon and in one piece.
That thing "Wise"...I call it the fun stopper! It hardly leads to interesting, in my book. However, I couldn't live without it considering my impulsive nature. It has stopped my fun, with good reason, many, many times. I'm thankful for that! Usually.
DeleteWell done, Gina. Full of mystery and intrigue.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mags! I think it would be really cool to actually do. Or write a story from that angle.
DeleteThis could be the start of great movie.
ReplyDeleteOOOOHHH! Gal, who could we cast?
DeleteIt would be fun...for a while. But the problem is that characters in books often get into bigger messes than we do in real life :)
ReplyDeleteOf course they do. That's why it's fiction and we live in real life. Just thinking crazy stuff!
DeleteI have felt this exact way about so many books. Thanks for playing with us again. Don't forget about the new prompt tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like I could become the story. I can feel it that much. Wonder if many people do?
